Emiliana Jasper
Actor. Filmmaker. Artist.
I’ve always been fascinated by people — I love the messy and the complicated parts of being human. That curiosity is what drew me to acting.
I’m drawn to the kinds of stories that live in the gray areas, where beauty is found in the mundane and truth in the dark corners. I’m endlessly inspired by character-driven stories that look for truth beneath the surface and aren’t afraid to sit with the uncomfortable.
I want characters who challenge me, unsettle me, and make me grow.
I started out in theater, where I learned discipline, stamina, and how to build a character from the ground up. Those early years shaped my craft in ways I carry into every project. In 2024, I made the intentional decision to shift my focus to film — I wanted to explore the kind of intimacy and subtlety that only the camera allows.
Since then, I’ve led over 30 films, including four features, and each one has taught me something new and pushed me to grow.
My performance in the Feature Film “Mia” ended up becoming a real turning point for me. Critics called it a “powerhouse performance,” and several outlets named me a rising star—something that still feels surreal, but incredibly meaningful.
Moving forward, I’m committed to building a body of work that’s bold, diverse, and challenging. I’m interested in stories that explore resilience, complexity, and the parts of ourselves we don’t always show the world.
Acting, for me, is a lifelong pursuit of connection and meaning. As I move forward, I’m committed to choosing work that inspires me, scares me, and lets me contribute something honest to the bigger conversation. And if the characters I play can help someone feel seen, understood, or a little less alone, then I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Reviews
“The film is carried almost entirely by its two lead performances .
Emiliana Jasper brings layered vulnerability to Emma. Her portrayal balances fear and anxiety with resistance and fleeting empathy, suggesting an internal battle between survival instinct and emotional confusion."
Just For Movie Freaks review of “Mia”
“Emiliana Jasper gives Emma a resilience that grounds the story’s high-wire tension. Her fear is not a static state; it is a fluid, calculating thing.
We see her initial terror give way to a watchful intelligence as she begins to probe her captor's psyche for weaknesses or inconsistencies.
Jasper portrays this shift with subtle grace, showing a maturity far beyond her character’s years. Her performance is the audience's anchor in a sea of uncertainty.”
Gazettely review of “Mia”
“It’s an incredible treat to see two actors jump right into their roles, knowing exactly how they’re meant to be played.
They both stepped right into the skin of their respective characters and instantly went about delivering their scenes with the kind of conviction & commitment you always hope to find right off the bat but rarely do.
To say I’m impressed would be putting it mildly – these two deserve serious recognition for their work.”
IndyRed review of “Mia”
“Anchored by powerhouse performances from Shah Motia and rising star Emiliana Jasper, MIA is an intense, mind-bending mystery that keeps audiences questioning reality until its final, shocking moments.”
Horror Society review of “Mia”
“Emiliana Jasper’s work as Emma stands out immediately. She doesn’t deliver her role with broad strokes, but with restraint. You can feel the unease pulsing just below the surface in nearly every scene she’s in.
She isn’t given many big, sweeping monologues, but that doesn’t mean her character lacks depth. Instead, she carries the weight of the film through hesitation and barely-controlled outbursts that make you second-guess her as much as you sympathize with her.
Jasper’s performance is one to watch, especially if she continues to explore characters with this much complexity."
Overly Honest Film review of “Mia”
“That we hate Aaron so fervently and feel such fear for Emma speaks to the performances of Motia and Jasper. Jasper carries the film with her portrayal of Emma."
Film Threat review 1 of “Mia”
“Writer/director Ferrer produced an incredible script and elicited superb performances from the two leads, Emiliana Jasper and Shah Motia. No spoilers, but you’re going to walk away from the ending feeling a bit devastated.”
